Time again for...

It's Ok...

...to buy the dog a bunch of rawhide bones so he'll leave you alone for a little bit.

...to have finally opened up an Etsy store a month later than planned. Go check it out here if you have some time! It's got some great gift and stocking stuffer options! 

...to be a little weirded out that hubs is suddenly excited about Christmas. He's normally Scrooge, but not this year apparently. 

...to be excited to get this baby out in about 5 weeks! This pregnancy flew by and I'm excited for baby Sophie to not be pushing on my ribs anymore.

...to finally learn how to properly wash my makeup brushes. They were pretty gross.

...to LOVE that Florida finally realized that it is not summer anymore. I'll take the 60 degree weather any day of the year, especially since it's December.

...to have an obsession with pajama pants. They're just so comfy and have such cute designs that I can't help but have the urge to buy another pair.

What I'm Loving Wednesday

It's that time of week again! It's time for...

....and I sure do have some great things to LOVE this week!

I'm loving that I have another baby shower for Sophie on Saturday!

I'm loving that it's officially Christmas time! We're putting up the tree tonight. Yay!

I'm loving that I only have about 6 1/2 weeks until I get to actually hold my baby girl in my arms. (I'm not thinking about the labor part - just the after part.)

I'm loving that almost all my holiday shopping is done except for a very difficult 23 year old brother who only wants money. That's just not fun to shop for! Any ideas?

I'm loving that I get to babysit my friend Jess' baby girl for a few weeks while she goes back to work before their actual daycare kicks in. It'll be a great trial run for caring for an infant.

It's Here!

It's official! I finally did it! Yup, my Etsy online store "creativityplayground" has been created and products have been posted! It's not very big yet, but I'm hoping it will grow as time passes.

Here are some of the items that I'm selling:

It's Ok...

It's already Thursday again! Where is this week going to? Yikes! Well, it's time again to hook up with Neely and Amber for It's OK...Thursday.

...to just take the morning slow and easy, because as everyone seems to remind me it won't be like that after Sophie's here.

...to put marshmallows in my hot cocoa flavored coffee.

...to hate that it's 80 degrees in November. Seriously, Florida? Get with the seasons please.

...to be a little sad that I'm not cooking our own Thanksgiving this year. I've enjoyed it the last two years, but it is nice to save the money that goes into cooking all that food.

...to not really enjoy shopping in Macy's simply because of the prices. Name brands are nice and all but I can get just about the same thing for half the price. 

...to be ready to get this baby out in two months and yet at the same time terrified that she'll be here so soon.

Weekend Rewind & What I'm Loving Wednesday

So much to say! Let me start with my weekend and move on to linking up with Jamie for WILW.

Saturday: Baby Shower Day! Yay! My MIL came and spent the night with us so she could just go with me to the shower. My friend Tara hosted it at this adorable little tea room called Sweet Magnolia's. If you live in Polk County, FL and haven't checked it out, you should. It's worth the visit. This shower consisted of people I know from our old church, before hubs became a youth pastor at a different church. It was so great to see everyone again! I missed all of them so dearly and I wish I was able to see all of them more often. It's amazing that after a few years of seeing the same faces week in and week out that life is just strange when you don't see them on such a regular basis anymore. The shower was great, though! Sophie got tons of diapers and wipes, along with clothes, blankets, toys, and so many other things. One of the items I was most excited about getting was her bathtub! We hadn't gotten one yet so I was super excited to have a place to bathe her! It's hard to believe she'll be here in just less than 9 weeks. Yikes!

Sunday: It was a pretty typical Sunday. Hubs got to preach in big church for the first time at this church though! I was so proud of him. It's so great seeing him doing what he was wired to do. I married a great man and I couldn't image having chosen anyone else. Because preaching always wears him out, he took a nice nap between church and youth group that night. Some of the middle school girls decided to write all over the windows of hub's car before service started. It was super sweet of them, and sadly, we didn't get to take any pictures of it. It was too dark that night and then by morning, all the dew made it smear. After youth group, we grabbed some ice cream at Dairy Queen with a some friends before heading home and passing out on the couch. It was a super busy, but fun weekend!


Now - WILW

I'm loving that everything was good at my doctor's visit this week. I'm going every two weeks now.

I'm loving that the nursery is just about done.

I'm not loving that I've been so wrapped up in Sophie coming that I've barely thought about Christmas! Yikes! I need to figure some stuff out quick!

I'm loving that chocolate covered cherries are back in season. They're my favorite Christmas candy. I know I can get them all year round but this is the best time of year to eat them for some reason.

I'm loving that my Etsy store is almost ready to open! I'm about a month behind where I wanted to be but all my items are done and ready to be posted for sale. I just need to officially open. Hopefully by the end of this week! Yay!

It's Ok...

Hola, readers! I'm back from cool and breezy Minnesota and am super excited to join up with Amber and Neely this week! So here it goes!

...to miss your family like crazy even though you just left.

...to freak out a little knowing Sophie'll be in my arms in about 9 weeks!

...to want to be completely surprised for the baby shower on Saturday! I just know where to be and when.

...to be sorely disappointed when you run out of sprinkles for your ice cream sundae.

...to not care for the smell of roses. Give me gerber daisies any day.

...to melt a little when hubs buys me a replacement copy of Pride and Prejudice for my birthday because I lost the copy he bought me when we were dating.

...to be excited to have a pack 'n play/bassinet combo! Thanks, Mom!

...to cringe every time someone mentions "Elmo". His voice grates on me. Ick.

...to wish that Florida would stop trying to stay warm all the time. Next week the highs are in the 80s! Really, Florida? Really? Did you not get the memo that it's November?

It's Ok...

I've been meaning to link up with Amber for a while but just haven't gotten around to it. I wanted to make sure I did it before I head on vacation for the next 10 days so here it goes...

...to still have trouble believing there's a baby growing inside me even though she's been growing for 29 weeks.

...to be nervous to fly all the way to Minnesota tomorrow due to the growing baby.

...to be super excited to see my family for 10 days while at the same time missing hubs like crazy because we've never been apart for that long. 

...to be excited to read my first real parenting book entitled, "Parenting Beyond Your Capacity".

...to make homemade pumpkin bars even though I only get to enjoy them for a few days since I leave tomorrow. 

...to wait until I get back from MN to open my etsy store. Stay tuned for more info in the coming weeks :)

...to hope that my friend - who is currently in labor - will have her baby before I leave tomorrow so I can see her. It's semi-selfish I know, but it would mean a quick labor for her and that is not selfish at all. It's a win-win.

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Good afternoon! I wanted to make sure I linked up with Jamie for What I'm Loving Wednesday. I used to do this on my previous blog and I definitely missed it. So here it goes...

I'm loving the slightly cooler weather that is starting to appear in sunny Florida. Maybe fall does exist. :)

I'm loving being able to feel Sophie kick in my belly. It's the neatest feeling ever!

I'm loving doing all the prep work to open an Etsy store. I'll post more about that once I'm ready to go (hopefully next week).

I'm loving the new Switchfoot album! I love that they're moving more into the rock genre instead of pop.

I'm loving that I get my hair done next week. Allie does a great job! :)

I'm loving blogging again. It's been a long hiatus, but I'm ready to be back.

I'm loving the recliner we picked out to go in the nursery. We haven't purchased it yet, but it's definitely the one.

I'm loving that I get to see my family in 16 days. It'll be a long trip up there but it'll be worth it. I get to stay there for over a week.

I'm loving that hubs and I are headed to North Carolina for a long weekend for his grandmother's 89th birthday. It'll be nice to get away for a few days and feel the beautiful fall weather.

Let It Officially Begin...

Today is my first official day on Blogger instead of Wordpress. I'm pretty excited for this new adventure! It's one of many going on in my life right now, but I'll get to those in a later post.

I spent many hours writing on that blog and it truly introduced me to a whole new world. I'm hoping to expand my world over here on Blogger with all of its easy to use tools.
